Start Your Day Right
Don't start your day filled with resentment;
Don't use remarks for which you'll be ashamed;
Don't say things to cut someone asunder;
Don't utter words you cannot reclaim.
Don't let angry words cross your lips;
Don't spew out words you'll soon regret;
Don't let Satan control your tongue;
Don't become critical of every soul you met.
Don't carry a grudge throughout the day;
Don't let words of guile from your lips impart;
Don't harbor ill feelings toward your neighbor;
Don't use conversation to break a tender heart.
Don't be a stumbling block to a weaker vessel;
Don't lambast with words you can't erase;
Don't let your tongue sow sure destruction;
Don't let false rumors fly back in your face.
Don't do anything to cause injury;
Don't forget to sow happiness everywhere you go;
Don't forget to ask God to sanctify your tongue;
Don't forget you're His mouthpiece here below.
Don't forget you're God's goodwill ambassador;
Don't think it's in vain the lonely cup you fill;
Don't forget to spread the news of God's salvation;
Don't be afraid to lead some soul up Calvary's hill.
Don't be hampered and disappointed when you speak;
Don't let Satan cramp your aggressive style;
Don't forget that it's the little things we do
Don't forget it's the little things that make life worth while.
