He spoke with God and plans were laid,,
He raised His hand and worlds were made,
He spoke and ocean waves obeyed;
Before His face all else must fade,
      So, what's in a name?
 
He speaks and mountains move out of place,
He quietly hung the stars in outer space,
He withstood Satan face to face,
To Him we sing "Amazing Grace".
      So what's in a name?

He smiles and skies light up,
He alone can fill our empty cup,
He winks and volcano's erupt,
He chose with sinners to sup,
      So what's in a name?

He's there when babies are born and old men die,
He's a comfort when we cry,
He's at home where eagles fly,
As we pray He draweth nigh,
      So what's in a name?

He can comfort the deepest grief,
He determines if life is long or brief,
He from pain can bring glad relief,
And He pardoned the dying thief,
      So what's in a name?

Some still ask, "what's in a name"
When it's spelled J E S U S, just about everything! ! !
