We All Have A Part
How high is the very highest
As high as the reach of deity,
How low is the very lowest
As low as God reached down for me.
How wide is the very widest
The gulf that stood between He and I,
How near is the very nearest
As near as a teardrop, and an eye.
How cold is the very coldest
My heart before I was saved,
How hot is the very hottest
Hell beyond a "Christ"less grave.
How far is the very farthest
The distance between love and hate,
How close is the very closest
The distance between Calvary and Heaven's gate.
How wise is the very wisest
To realize a part in Heaven's plan,
How foolish is the greatest fool
A man that turns from God; and trusts in man.
How rich is the very richest
Possessing the price paid for your soul,
How poor is the very poorest;
To die outside the Savior's fold.
I'm such an insignificant creature
In this walk down here below,
But there's one thing I'm certain;
We all have a part in His plan, that I know!
