Lost! And Found!

I was distressed in my wandering
Wandering with no goal in sight
Sight like a blind man lost in his traveling
Traveling today, I found Jesus, everything's alright.

Alright in spite of earth's wishful standards
Standards often weakened, and scarred by sin,
Sin measured by souls that are lost;
Lost in darkness, Jesus invited me in.

In to the fold of this mighty Shepherd
Shepherd seeking the sheep gone astray,
Astray from the Father so despised
Despised, and rejected, still my sin debt He paid.

Paid a ransom for one such as I
I couldn't believe for me he would die,
Die in agony, and shame on (Calvary's Tree);
Tree, turned into an old rugged cross to set me free.

Free from the wages of sin, death
Death swallowed up by the Savior as I stood by
By the God-Man of glory
Glory to God everything's alright.

Alright in Heaven according to plan
Plan to redeem souls gone astray,
Astray from the bosom of the almighty God;
God, Almighty, did you hear me pray.

Pray in desperation I pleaded
Pleaded for forgiveness, and filling my need,
Need for strength, He set me ashore
Ashore home in glory to wander no more.
