If You're Married

When you're tired and weary, and you seek peace of mind,
A kiss, a fond caress, sometimes mean more than words you'll find.
If you're married.
Tenderness shown at the end of a trying day and a fond embrace,
Not only pleases her, it pleases God, and it's certainly not out of place.
If you're married.
To come home to loving arms that reach out and hold you tight,
Makes you know your labor's worthwhile, and everything will be alright.
If you're married.
If you respect each other, all of life's troubles you can face,
There's no problem you share, that a tear and a prayer won't quickly erase.
If you're married.
Let troubles come as they surely will, they're forgotten as soon as they're gone,
When you share them together, you always have a shoulder to lean on.
If you're married.
Husbands and wives have troubles that single folks know nothing about,
But if you love Him, God will help you work them out.
If you're married.
A hug, a love pat, a little squeeze, a love affair through life, if you please,
That's alright with God, that's the way He meant it to be.
If you're married.
