You Can't Hide

My friend, there's nowhere  you can hide
For the Bible makes it plain;
There's no place in this great universe
That's beyond the Lord's domain.

If you could take the wings of a angel
And fly to some distant star,
Though hidden from man's prying eyes
God would still know where you are !

If you hid in some far away desert,
Thinking nobody would ever know,
Though you thought you made good your escape,
God's all-seeing eyes go wherever you go !

If you made your bed in Hades
Where fire and brimstone blocks man's view,
God who created Hell for the devil
Would have no trouble finding you.

If you swam to the deepest oceans
And sank deep beneath the raging tide,
The One who controls the boisterous waves
Would know exactly where you reside !

If you scaled the highest mountain
Hoping to escape the judgement seat,
You'll have to concede and surrender,
For you'll only go down in defeat.

Why not come out of hiding
Without Him, life is a total loss,
Come and there abide forever
Beneath the blood of the Savior's Cross !
