In Gethsemanes garden
Jesus came to pray
He knew the day was approaching
When He'd be caught away.

He came with a message
A message from above
He came for this reason
He came because of love.

If you still don't understand
Read John 3: 16
And let the spirit lead
The truth will be plainly seen.

God so loved the world
Jesus came to die,
When He said the world, praise God,
He included you and I.

Yes, there's just one reason
He came down from above,
In just four tiny letters
