Do You Have A Hiding Place

It started in the garden
When Adam chose to sin,
He tried to hide from God,
But God had no trouble finding him !

Cain slew brother Able
Part of Satan's evil plan,
He couldn't hide his crime,
Though he hid Able in the sand.

There's the story of righteous Noah
God told him to build an ark,
Without hesitation
On this task he did embark.

When the flood came,
There was no place to hide,
While the unbelievers drowned;
Noah's family was snuggled safe inside.

Esau would have killed Jacob;
No hiding his intent,
Jacob fled down to Bethel,
Slept out without a tent.

Joseph had a coat of many colors
And angry brothers on every hand,
They plucked him from the hiding place,
And sold him to that desert band.

God called Moses down to Egypt,
Moses stammered with an excuse;
But God would not be denied,
Found Moses hiding by a burning bush.

Gideon was a chosen vessel
Though he was meek and poor,
God found him hiding
Down on the threshing floor.

Samson was a mighty judge
But he fell into a sinful rut,
He shared his hidden secret
And got his fatal haircut.

Jesus said there's a hiding place
We can hide ourselves in Him
Men will find no hiding place
When they live their life in sin.

Pay attention to His promise
Listen to Jesus' beck and call,
There's a hiding place in Heaven
And there's room for one and all.
