Love
Love is born each morning
It blossoms bright and fair,
Like all tender flowers
Love needs a lot of tender care !
Love is like the tender sprout
It needs nurtured everyday,
Only when love is cultivated,
Will it flourish and repay !
Love, like all flowers
Needs the bee and butterflies,
To spread the vital nectar;
Or the love will surely die !
Love comes forth at sunrise
It may wither before noon tide,
It takes two hearts that are willing
To safely tuck that love inside !
Love, like all earthly flowers
Must pass through a world of trials,
Only when each challenge is conquered;
That lovers can wear a happy smile !
Love comes to us in youth
To see us through the hardest hour,
When we're old, and still we love,
We'll know of love's lasting power !
Love grows, as we grow old
It's presence brightens every day,
When we reach our golden years,
We'll know that love is here to stay !
Love is like the hoary manna
It can fill a hungry heart,
If we pass our years in solitude;
Know that love plays a major part !
God's love is given without measure
From the shepherd, to the lonely sheep.
To the wealthy, and the pauper,
Yet His love is nothing cheap !
If you tried to purchase God's love,
You would find you don't have the price,
For Jesus paid the price for love
With His great sacrifice !
The greatest institution on earth is the family, a husband and wife.
Here's a solution for perfect harmony in marriage: When you're weak,
lean on each other. When you're strong, hold each other up.
This way, nothing can ever come between you. . .
The church is not an institution; it's God's bride on a mission. |
